i love, love, love buying new books. and i almost always read them! i bought two monday night after a 3-hour dinner with sweet Liz, an A&M/Chi-O graduate who is now living here in the big city!
i have never read anything by c.s. lewis but after matt told me all about The Screwtape Letters when he was here i knew i had to buy it. i tried reading it online for a while because i wanted to get started on it and hadnt made it to a bookstore. but reading on a computer screen just isnt enjoyable! thanks to Liz i found a barnes and noble 3 minutes away from my apartment.
when abby and i were in chelsea markets we stopped in a bookstore. i must say, i judge a book buy its cover and am a huge sucker for book cover art. the simplicity and cleanness of Tinkers caught my eye, i went home and googled it and then picked it up.
still not exactly sure what its about but worst case scenario i just bought a cook looking book that can serve as shelf art.
